2026 marks the first!
Come to Historic Downtown Jefferson City for a weekend celebration along Mossy Creek featuring live music, family-friendly events, 5K race, food vendors, rubber duck race and more.
Each duck cost $8.
Each adopted duck will be released into the Mossy Creek on race day and will float its way to the finish line. The first ducks to cross the finish line will win fun prizes, and every entry helps support the mission of bringing new life, events, and opportunities to our downtown.
Whether you adopt 1 duck or 50, every duck counts and every donation makes a difference.

I got an update of where you can see the ducks:
They are put out near the bridge on E. Cherokee. and then we have ‘ duck catchers’ alittle further down the creek to grab. There will be an announcement at the festival with instructions on where to watch the ducks too.
