A church sign about freedom is not free – Here is a church sign from Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Madisonville, TN.
This church sign reads …
Freedom is not free … Jesus Paid the price for your freedom – freedom from sin!
This photo was submitted by Sherry Bennett. Thanks Bennett for sending me this picture of this church sign as well.
Freedom cost us a lot! More than we realize. Like freedom in America, it has cost many, many men and women their lives. The same applies to the freedom that God gave us, this freedom is not a license to sin. This freedom cost God dearly, it cost Him, His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us all from our sins that slave us. He gave us the freedom from sin. He took sin for us. When God see His children, those born again (saved), all God will see is His precious blood on us.
